Peer Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS) is a supplemental reading programfor students in 2nd to 6th Class. PALS builds fluency and comprehension skills through a set of activities your students to 35 to 45 minutes per session, 3 times a week.

PALS is a peer-tutoring program that incorporates three reading strategies: partner reading and retelling, paragraph shrinking, and prediction relay.

In PALS, students work in pairs to help each other improve their reading skills.

The accompanying CD contains: the student materials, transpararencies and teacher reference resources which are needed to implement the PALS program in the classroom
